What is CWISH?

The Council of Women's and Infants' Specialty Hospitals (CWISH) is a membership organization of non-profit hospitals that are leaders in providing services to women and infants. It is a unique subgroup of National Perinatal Information Center (NPIC) hospitals with large maternity services that share more detailed comparative staffing, financial and resource use information.


How can my hospital become a member of CWISH?

Membership in CWISH is by invitation only. Invitees must be in non-competing markets to current CWISH members, have a minimum of 5,000 deliveries per year and be a National Perinatal Information Center (NPIC) member.

My organization is a member of CWISH, how do I get access to the CWISH Member Site?

In order to access the CWISH Member Site you must register to become a user. Complete the website registration form and your registration will be reviewd by the website andministrator who will grant access.


Who are the members of CWISH?

CWISH currently has fourteen member hospitals representing close to 126,000 deliveries annually.

The National Perinatal Information Center (NPIC) is a nationally recognized, non-profit organization with expertise in the management and analysis of large perinatal data sets and the development of comparative quality improvement reports.
